Experimental Study on Gully Erosion Characteristics of Mountain Torrent Debris Flow in a Strong Earthquake Area

In recent years, as the frequency of debris flow outbreak in strong earthquake areas has increased and scale been expanding, order to explore erosion characteristics flow, a lateral flume model experimental device designed, 18 groups incomplete orthogonal experiments have carried out, with unit weight 1.6~2.0 g/cm3, content fine particles accumulation 0~28.82%, longitudinal slope gradient gully 8°~20° variables. The results show that width, depth, volume decrease increase fluid bulk density slope. When was 16°, sediment 11.40% had strongest effect, indicating more or less are not conducive occurrence gully. Finally, through multi-factor variance analysis, it found three factors on degree from weak is: weight, slope, grading. analysis further showed greatest impact side which is consistent results. research important reference significance for revealing mechanism improving level disaster prevention areas.
